A Meditation from Our Dear Member Judy Moser

Cerebral palsy is not a disease, but it causes brain damage and lack of coordination control. It affects speech too in some people. You need a lot of determination and faith to cope with it, and caring and loving parents. There are special schools to give you physical therapy (to teach you how to walk), occupational therapy (to teach you how to use your hands), and speech, among your regular classes. People with cerebral palsy will probably need some supervision the rest of their lives. We also need you . . . to understand.

Cerebral palsy is a rough road to travel, but if you are born with it, you have to accept it and trust in the Lord to be happy. My cross is cerebral palsy!

(Judy shared this with Pastor David, and she gave him permission to share it with others.)

"You are the light of the world...No one after lighting a lamp puts it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to God in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16
